As an Internet Marketer it is very common to use social media or social networking sites, such as Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, Facebook, and so on, to promote you, your products and services, your company and your work.
But like any marketing communications and strategy, there are some important dos and what I should use Facebook as an example of social media marketing, for the purposes of this discussion.
The main difference by using Facebook, unlike other marketing platform, is that it is, or was intended, first and foremost a social medium (and not a business medium).Facebook was originally developed for people to connect socially with other persons. When Facebook was a force to be reckoned with, companies and undertakings then decided to get their slice of the pie. the fact that Facebook is a social networking platform means your marketing communication needs to have a more social/friendly and connecting taste.
So here are 5 tips to make your Facebook Marketing effectively, based on my observations of the most successful Internet marketers methods for using Facebook, as well as for my own use of it as a marketing tool:
Tip 1: make sure your Facebook profile, interesting, friendly and informative.
Your profile is necessary to let people know what kind of person you are (often your Facebook friends are people you haven't met in real life). Not be too formal, business or Unattached (this is my downfall sometimes!), or just as also informal, as could be seen as unprofessional. art is to produce a balanced and in between-after all you are a business and must get so competent and professional; but Facebook is a social medium, and you must show your human side also.Do this by mentioning some things in your profile about you that makes you you and doesn't have anything to do with your business, but also give readers the facts about what you do as a business, and how you can help them.
Tip 2: get real with your status updates/posts. you should not be on Facebook just to promote and sell.
Be a real person-sometimes just send status updates/comments as possible to see, you are just another ordinary person like you Don't make your comments ... for inconsistent or personal yet (don't mention your toenails or hair problems!).
A fairly common way to add value in this way is by posting quotes from famous people who once with your values, hopefully to get your friends to think or to inspire them.
For example: ' "Be more concerned about your character than your reputation because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is just what others think you are."John Wooden, basketball Coach ' (posted by Lavinia d. Osbourne on Facebook, 30 May 2010).
But also be aware that posting quotes are so used normally now that its value may have been diluted.Perhaps also make up your own inventories based on their observations and thoughts about the nature of life, business and become human?
Tip 3: be useful to your friends/hand fans/group members.
Do not use powerful sales-hype in your status updates/posts-people do not want to be sold for!Depending on your company, products and services you-promotion, and your unique personality, you must build a personal brand by offering help and advice for others (your target market) in a relevant way for them; based on their typical needs, wants, wishes, dreams and problems.
This kind of approach is more likely to entice them to click through to your main website and buy from you because over time they become like and trust you.
Tip 4: be interactive. creating and using a Facebook group(with the appropriate name, subject and purpose) to connect with others and you must make at least one group communication, event/webinar invitation or free/useful quote each day for your group.
Remember, even if you can invite your friends to participate in your Facebook group, they themselves choose to become team members or not, and they will be more inclined to participate in a dynamic group with lots of interaction and useful information (which are simply not created to spam them with sales-speak).
In addition to your posts, allow team members to post their updates/comments to your group wall, so that they are free to interact with other team members (but perhaps it would be wise to limit exclusively devoted to self-promotion of team members).
Tip 5: use Facebook often.Become known by your friends/fans/team members.
If Facebook is one of your most important selected Internet Marketing strategies, and then use it daily-be seen, be interactive, be present! view it as a place you go to-if you go there often, the people there to learn to know you, and feel more comfortable and familiar with you; This can only be good for your personal brand and Internet Marketing efforts.
Facebook can be a very effective marketing tool, but not all Internet marketers see success from your use of Facebook Success is of course not; only measured by website sales conversions ($ $ $), but also by the amount of interest, interaction and excitement generated by your Facebook profile, status updates, and groups. Use 5 tips above as a checklist for your Facebook marketing-and remember, "good things come to those who work hard, but not always immediately"!
